As the spring reveals
your beautiful colors,
and there is a cheer
in the chirp of the birds,

I once again find myself,
at peace with the world around.
I will miss this small,
beautiful campus. And,

the people that walk
its crooked ways. And,
the shade and light
of its tall trees.

Winter has passed,
a new season truly
begins as summer,
and there is more peace,

in the heart,
of this crazy writer.
