Let freedom ring,
the freedom to express ourselves,
to not be judged before we speak,
and to know that others are listening,
let freedom ring,

the church bells on Sundays,
the chanting of monks,
the prayers at synagogues,
let freedom ring.

let freedom ring,
let my heart tell me your love,
let my strength defend you,
let my voice count,
make freedom ring.

make freedom ring,
from the tall Rockies,
across the eastern seaboard,
Make freedom ring!

live for freedom,
live for war and peace,
live for democrat, republican,
live for love,
live for freedom!
